Study Room — focus together in a shared study room
Privacy Policy

Study Room has no account and no sign-in. Your study time, streak and history are stored only on your device, and the developer cannot read them.
1. Information we handle
| Nickname | A display name you choose. It is shown to other people in the same study room. We recommend not entering your real name or other personal information. |

| Anonymous device ID | A random ID generated on your device. It is not linked to your name. It is used only to show live presence and to identify reports. |
| Study data | Study time, streak, session history and goals. Stored only on your device. It is never sent to our servers, and it is deleted when you delete the app. |
| Reports | Only when you report another user, we store the reported display name, both anonymous IDs, the room and the reason on our backend (Supabase). This is for moderation, and other users cannot read it. |
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, password, postal address, precise location (GPS) or payment information. For information collected by Google for advertising, see “3. Third-party services”.
2. Live presence
While you are in a study room, your nickname, status (studying or on a break), seat and time since you sat down are shared in real time with the other people in that room. This is temporary: it disappears when you leave or lose connection, and it is not kept as history.

| Google AdMob | Used to serve banner ads. To deliver and measure ads, Google LLC may collect your advertising identifier (IDFA), device information (model, OS version, language, country), IP address and ad impression/click data. See the Google Privacy Policy for details. |
- On iOS we ask for App Tracking Transparencypermission. If you decline, the IDFA is not used and you will only see non-personalised ads (ads are still shown). You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Apple’s SKAdNetwork is used for ad measurement in a way that does not identify you.
- Your study data and reports are never used for advertising.
- We do not use any third-party SDK for behavioural analytics.
4. Audio
Ambient sounds (rain, fireplace) are bundled with the app and played on your device. We never access the microphone or record audio.
5. Retention
- Study data on your device: kept until you delete the app.
- Presence: temporary, removed when you leave a room.
- Reports: kept only as long as needed for moderation.
6. Your rights
You can erase the data on your device by deleting the app. For deletion of report data or other requests, please contact us at the address below.
7. Children
This app is not directed at a specific age group and is not primarily aimed at children under 13. The app shows advertising. Guardians should make sure children do not enter personal information as their nickname.
8. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as needed. If a change is significant, we will announce it in the app or on the App Store.
